Telmizest 80 mg Tablets Tablet contains two medicines, both of which help to control high blood pressure. It lowers the blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels and making it easier for your heart to pump blood around your body. This will reduce your risk of having a heart attack or a stroke.

Treatment of Hypertension (high blood pressure)

• Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
• Swallow it as a whole.
• Do not chew, crush or break it.

Telmisartan works by blocking angiotensin II receptors (a hormone that narrows blood vessels), preventing the hormone from constricting blood vessels. This results in dilation (relaxation) of the blood vessels, leading to lower blood pressure and reduced strain on the heart.
