Torzest Plus Tablets is a combination of two medicines used to reduce excess fluid levels in the body while maintaining the potassium balance. It is used to treat edema (fluid overload) and some cases of hypertension.

In Treatment of Edema

• Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
• Swallow it as a whole.
• Do not chew, crush or break it.
• Torzest Plus Tablets is to be taken with food.

The combination of spironolactone and torsemide increases the production of urine from the kidneys, effectively reducing excess fluid levels in the body. This helps alleviate oedema (swelling) linked to heart, liver, kidney, or lung diseases. By doing so, it decreases the heart’s workload and enhances its efficiency in pumping blood throughout the body. As a result, it also aids in lowering high blood pressure, which can reduce the risk of future heart attacks, strokes, or angina (chest pain).
