Cinnarizine is an anti-histamine drug that blocks the effects of histamine (a chemical substance produced in response to allergy) in the brain to reduce the symptoms of travel sickness. It is also a calcium channel blocker and improves blood circulation in the inner ear, thus reducing symptoms caused by vertigo, tinnitus (ringing in the ear), and Meniere’s disease.

Domperidone is an anti-emetic drug (that eases vomiting symptoms) and dopamine (chemical messenger) antagonist. It works by blocking the action of dopamine in the brain, which causes nausea and vomiting. It also increases the movements and contractions of stomach muscles. Domperidone is also a prokinetic agent that controls acid reflux.
